Seminar on “Keeping Your Business Healthy with Legal Checkups”
Presented as part of the Shoreline Business Workshop Series of Shoreline Community College
Cost: FREE

Rules and regulations change, business partners come and go, and the company you are running today is not the same as it was when it opened. When did you last review your LLC operating agreement or your company’s by-laws? When did your contracts get updated? Do you have an employee handbook? A document retention policy? Non-disclosure agreements with your employees? Is your old insurance covering the new equipment you bought or leased last year?  Running a business can be difficult, especially with licensing, insurance, contracts, employment issues, regulations and so many rules to be on top of.

Just as you have an annual checkup with your doctor, your business needs an annual checkup by your lawyer.  Annual review of your business documents and procedures can help you keep ahead of problems before they turn into disasters.  This short, free presentation will cover the basic issues and steps you should be aware of to maintain the health of your business.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011, Noon-1:30 pm
